Barcelona is the second largest city of Spain and is the capital of the Catalonia community, one of Spain?s seventeen autonomous communities. Barcelona is on the northeast tip of Spain along the coastline with the Pyrenees mountain range approximately 100 miles north. It hosted the 1888 World?s Fair as well as the 1992 Summer Olympics.
